Geobear Win Insurance Times Award

Geobear, in partnership with L&G and Sedgwick has won a second insurance industry award – Claims Partner of the Year.

The prestigious Insurance Times Awards 2019 was held on Friday the 22nd November at the Grosvenor in London. Geobear won in the Claims Partner of the Year category; the category is designed to recognise claims, loss adjusting, legal and service partners that have delivered outstanding profitable, flexible and efficient support to UKGI brokers and/or insurers.

We received the award in recognition of our work with L&G and Segdwick whereby we created an innovative process for dealing with subsidence claims. We have worked with L&G and Sedgwick for almost two years developing a much faster process for customers to have their claim resolved which has helped to close claims within months, rather than in some cases years previously.  Our fast geopolymer injection method for remediating subsidence, together with new efficiencies in the overall process ahs benefited customers greatly.

The award is the second our collaboration has won this year following the Claims Collaboration of the Year Award at June’s Insurance Post Awards.
